1- CM PUNK vs. CHRIS JERICHO- STEEL CAGE MATCH FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

During Punks entrance, they replayed the attack at Unforgiven that put him out for the Scramble match. Jericho had his right arm bandaged from his elbow to his wrist. They also showed Jericho winning the belt at Unforgiven during the Scramble. The two went face-to-face and forehead-to-forehead jawing at each other once the bell rang. Punk, in black and white trunks, took it to Jericho early on. Punk whipped Jericho into the turnbuckle, and he quickly climbed the ropes and tried to climb out of the cage. Punk met him on the top rope to stop him. Kick to the head by Punk sent Jericho to the mat. Y2J made it back up to prevent Punk from escaping, however. Punk was getting ready to whip Jericho off the ropes, but he lost his grip on Jericho. Instead of just going along with it anyway, Jericho collapsed against the rope until Punk could regain his grip. Punk put Jericho on his shoulders and threw him into the steel cage.

The lighting was dark, and Chris Jerichos music hit. He came down to the ring. Jericho got into the ring and climbed to the top of the ladder. Jericho reviewed what happened at the end of the show last week. He accused the fans of blindly believing everything HBK said. He said just because Michaels says something, doesn't make it true. Jericho said he, on the other hand, is an honest, good man. He said he always tells the truth. Read more?

Chris to appear on Smackdown October 3rd

On Oct. 3 at 8/7 CT, SmackDown will move to its new home on MyNetwork TV with an unprecedented night of sports-entertainment action. The premiere episode of SmackDown will see for the first time ever on broadcast television a night of Champion vs. Champion matches. The special episode of SmackDown will feature Superstars and Divas from all three brands of WWE, including a Triple Threat Match that will see WWE Champion, and SmackDown's own, Triple H, take on Raw's World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho and ECW's Champion Matt Hardy.

IGN.com are releasing superstars and diva's stats and videos each day for the upcoming game Smackdown vs Raw 2009, today, they release footage of Jericho from the game. At the site, there are two videos plus more information on Chris and the signature moves, finishers and abilities he will have in the game. They've changed his song to the version on the newest WWE music CD which I think is a MUCH better fit for his character now. Still in his long tights, I guess they didn't have time to change his attire to what he wears now, and he is still referred to as "Y2J". His entrance is awesome however it's his entrance prior to his heel turn and seperation from his old Y2J character. Visit the Site - For Video footage and more information.
