Chris Jericho came out with his IC Title around his waist. Cole said he spoke to Jericho earlier and he has no remorse for what has happened to Shawn Michaels. Jericho then said he was told to walk to the ring to defend his title against a surprise opponent. He said Michaels won't be that surprise opponent because even though they're near his home, Michaels isn't as dedicated as he is. He said he's missed funerals and weddings and his kids' birthdays to be there for the fans. He said the fans don't appreciate it, though, so now he's here to save himself from them. His opponent then came out - Kofi Kingston.

Digitals ¦¦ High Quality Captures ¦¦ Video Jericho said people are calling him "Y-2-Jaded." He said why shouldn't he be jaded. He said he was cheated out of his IC Title last night and the fans cheered for it. He said he has again been told Shawn Michaels isn't in the building, but he was told that last night, but it was a lie. He said he can't believe Michaels would be part of a lie. He said there's more to his eye injury than Michaels is letting on. He said he has a serious problem with it. The fans began an "HBK" chant. He wondered why Michaels keeps attacking him at risk of his eyesight. Read more?

Chris Jericho appears in the new commercial for SummerSlam 2008, where he's dressed as Indiana Jones and is 'stealing' the WWE championship. Hopefully this means Jericho is getting a WWE title shot soon. If you want to see the commercial, click here! I've added a small number of captures from this commercial. Also, I've screencapped a DVD that I have entitled 'Raw's Most Memorable Matches', one match includes Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels, a Wrestlemania Re-match that happened on the 21st July 2003. WHEN Chris Jericho talks about the wrestling business you need to listen. He was the WWE’s first ever undisputed champion, has held the intercontinental title more times than any other man and recently became a best selling author to boot.
