Chris Jericho is out first to open the show. He said a few things have changed but one thing remains the same, that all of the fans are still petulant, hypocritical tapeworms and are completely clueless to Jericho’s true talent. He said he’s not got going to introduce himself because it’s beneath him, and we know who he is: The biggest superstar to ever be drafted to Smackdown. He says to forget everything we’ve ever seen or heard before on the show, because from now on, he’s taking over. “This is my show”. He reminds us that he is Superstar of the Year for 2008 and that he says he’s already the No.1 Contender, and that it’s a travesty he has to compete in a Fatal Four Way tonight. Edge’s music hits. He introduces everyone to Chris Jericho, and then reminds everyone of who beat Chris for the World Title, and how Edge beat Cena for the title just 5 days ago.
